Pizza Day

We made our own pizzas and it was fun! -Ethan
First we put oil on our pans then we flattened the dough. Then we put tomato sauce on it. Then we put the toppings on and covered it with cheese. Then we baked them. Then we ate them! -Jeffery
I put mushrooms on my pizza and tomatoes. I liked it! -Neil
We made the pizzas and then put them in the oven and then we ate them all up! -Ava
We learned about the four food groups and we made pizza.  Pizza has the four food groups. -Trinity

Bunny Day

We had to bring a stuffed bunny to school today. I got mine for Easter! -Brady
Some people forgot their bunnies and had to use Mrs. Bailey's bunnies. -Ava
We did bunny math with them.  We had to measure our bunnies. -Addyson
We also sorted our bunnies by colour and size. -Trinity & Jeffery

100th Day of School

We had to put 100 fruit loops on a necklace.  It was fun! -Kaeden

100 day was AWESOME!  We watched the Olympic hockey game in the gym. -Logan

First we watched the countdown and fireworks.  We shouted "Happy New Year", blew our horns, and threw streamers. -Brady

Our first day back after Christmas break, we watched the countdown and fireworks on Youtube and had a mini-celebration in class.  Everyone had a lot of fun.  It was a little tricky for some of the grade ones to come up with a resolution for themselves.  But they ended up doing a great job!

Christmas Candy Decorating Fun

 We had lots of fun making melting snowmen out of marshmallows, a cookie, icing, a candy for the nose, chocolate chip eyes, pretzel arms, and a candy scarf and hat.  -Ava

Then we made Christmas trees with icing.  -Neil

I liked the icing.  It was good!  -Brady

My mom helped out and so did Ava's mom.  -Trinity

We used candies, icing, and ice cream cones to make the trees.  -Taylor

CODE RED Practice

We practiced Code Red today.  -Brady
If there's someone dangerous in the school, we have to do code red.  -Trinity
We have to line up quietly and pretend there's nobody in our classroom.  -Jeffery

Mrs. Bailey had to lock the door, turn off the lights, and guard us.  -Gracelyn

Pizza Party!

We earned a pizza party because we raised the most money for our school.  -Trinity
It was called Math-a-rama, and we practiced lots of math!  -Kayli
